Paris: Breguet supports an exhibition at the National Archives
Art and Culture ,
As part of its ongoing sponsorship of the arts and culture, Breguet has provided support for the exhibition entitled “Louis XVI, Marie-Antoinette and the Revolution. The Royal Family at the Tuileries (1789-1792)”, which has recently opened at the Hôtel de Soubise, the home of the National Archives in Paris.
It explores the life of the royal family between the end of the Ancien Régime and the collapse of the monarchy through archive documents, works of art and pieces of furniture. The exhibition includes a register from Breguet’s archives that attests to the close relationship between Marie-Antoinette and A.-L. Breguet, as well as an illustration of one of the Breguet timepieces that belonged to the queen.
The exhibition is open until 6 November 2023, except during July and August.
