In a continuous effort to reinforce its commitment in the fields of art and culture preservation, the House of Breguet launched a new partnership with the Teatro Dell'Opera of Rome, Italy.
The announcement of this prestigious association provided Breguet with the opportunity to invite VIP clients and journalists to a performance of Gioachino Rossini’s opera « Il Barbiere di Siviglia », played for the first time in 1816 in the Italian capital.
The choice of this work accentuates a particular symbolism—the great Gioachino Rossini was one of Breguet’s famous clients. During his lifetime, the composer was indeed the happy owner of a small simple Breguet watch, which accompanied him his entire life.
