Breguet unveils a Marine novelty featuring a Tourbillon
Collections ,
The House lifts the veil on a new model in the Marine collection equipped with a Tourbillon, its most emblematic invention. The 42.5 mm case, offered in rose gold or platinum, houses self-winding Calibre 581, measuring just 3 mm thick. This thinness is made possible by the use of a peripheral rotor. The finishing of the movement is revealed through a sapphire case-back, like the barrel drum which bears a compass rose.
Regarding the aesthetics, the sunburst dial is slate-grey coloured for the rose gold version and navy blue for the platinum model. The Tourbillon located at 5 o'clock catches the eye with its cage rotating in 60 seconds. The chapter ring has been off-centred so as to highlight this mechanism, while, the hour-markers and the gold Breguet hands are luminescent.
